On April 8th, 2024, Rochester, NY will fall beneath the Moon’s shadow during a total solar eclipse.  Astronomy Professor Jason Szymanski (Chemistry/Geosciences) will present what to expect for the upcoming eclipse and how to prepare. A brief overview of why this eclipse is so unique will be discussed, followed by questions and answers. This talk will be presented on Wednesday, March 20, and again on Wednesday, March 27, in the Empire Room. Attend either session, or both! Join in-person or join via Zoom.

Each guest will receive their own pair of solar eclipse glasses!
